What we do

We have a wide range of skills and experience in on-line communications. Our principal work is in designing, building, writing, launching, and maintaining websites. Recently we’ve been doing more work harnessing the power of social engagements and interactions to boost business and brand loyalty.

Of course no two projects are ever the same; every client has different needs to be understood, and different requirements from their on-line portfolio. We have, however, tried to break what we do down into four rough areas, to make it a bit easier to understand. Of course, no project falls into one category – indeed, many will involve every type of work:

Websites for small businesses and individuals »

Helping creative individuals, groups and artists get noticed, build their client base, and find work
We know – we’re there with you. We can help you bring your business and brand to a larger audience on-line. Whether you’re a small business looking to expand and find new work, a photographer wanting to showcase your work, or musicians looking to promote your music (like us) and get gigs, we have off the shelf solutions for you.

Bespoke, engaging solutions »

Dynamic, creative solutions to your organisation’s needs.
If you need a unique solution to your on-line needs we have the experience to provide it. We can design, manage, code, copy-write, and test complex projects. From expanding your on-line presence into new fields and technologies, to helping web start-ups get off the ground, we can deliver what you need.

Consultancy and advice »

Working with you to find more cost-effective ways of engaging with people
Sometimes all you need is a fresh pair of ears and eyes to listen to your needs and give some advice on what to do next. Is social networking for us? How can we boost conversions? Why aren’t we appearing in Google? We consult on a range of topics.

Social Engagement »

Helping your brand or organisation engage with social mediums.
For arts and charities groups most of your work comes down to building conversations and relationships with your audiences, members, and supporters. They want to feel engagement with your work and mission. Why end the conversation off-line? By bringing your conversations on-line you can enrich your brand and strengthen your audience.

How a project usually happens

The general work-flow of a project will go something like this. First, we meet up for coffee and talk through your needs, thoughts, designs – whatever you have. Some people come to us with everything already thought out, others simply think a website might help business, and they’d like us to guide them through the options. Next, we’ll go away and draw up a quotation and a project outline; how much it will cost, and how soon we expect to be able to deliver.

Once that‘s agreed on, the real work begins. We produce several mock-ups, story-boards, structural possibilities, ideas, and templates for you to look over. It’s generally from those first reactions that we can understand what you’re hoping for. We then produce more work to show you, and so on, until we reach the solution you’re (more than) happy with. Sometimes this happens quickly, other times it takes a great many iterations to get right. Either way, we work with you at every stage to build something really great.

Next, we test, design, and polish every little aspect of the solution to make it as perfect as possible. We test in every browser, every email client, against every demographic for social projects, until its all ready to go. Once launched we don’t just disappear – we stay with you to make sure everything is working smoothly and we help you analyse statistics to see what we can improve. We want our work to be successful!
