The Stradivari Trust

URL: http://www.stradivaritrust.org

The Stradvari Trust was created by Nigel Brown OBE in September 2004 to support various musical and literary projects, both in Cambridge and nationally. There are dozens of charities and organisations who support arts in one way or another but few who offer opportunities to both students and professionals alike. The Trust regularly supports the Cambridge University Chamber Orchestra, Endellion String Quartet (most recently funding their Beethoven cycle recordings) and the Cambridge Wordfest. It also acts as a channel for charitable donations made to Nigel Brown’s Syndicated Instrument Trusts, which over the last two decades have provided fine string instruments for musicians such as Nigel Kennedy, Steven Isserlis, Natalie Clein and Jennifer Pike.
